KSA Dynamics' marketing site ran on WordPress, deployed as a single production tier with no separation between the code, the content, and the database. Everything lived in one place, which made the site fragile to change and expensive to keep secure.

Three issues drove the engagement:

• A dated site in need of a modern refresh. The design no longer reflected the quality of the business, and the underlying single-tier architecture left no clean way to evolve it.
• No way to accept payment online. Customers couldn't sign up and pay for training sessions through the site. Every registration meant manual follow-up, invoicing, and back-and-forth — friction for the customer and overhead for the business.
• A steady, unavoidable "WordPress tax." WordPress powers a large share of the web, which makes it the single biggest target for automated attacks — and every plugin adds third-party code that can open a new vulnerability. The result is a permanent maintenance treadmill: core, theme, and plugin updates; security patching; firewall and malware monitoring; and compatibility checks after every update. Much of the recurring monthly cost wasn't improving the site — it was simply defending it against risks the platform itself introduced.

We replatformed the site off WordPress and onto a modern, distributed architecture — separating the presentation layer, the content management layer, and the database into independent tiers rather than one monolithic install. This removed the plugin ecosystem and the constantly shifting attack surface that came with it, and gave the site a clean foundation to grow on.

At the same time, we designed and built a new online payments capability using Stripe, so end users can:

• Browse and select a training session directly on the site
• Purchase and pay online through secure guest checkout
• Receive instant confirmation and an emailed receipt, with no manual intervention

Because the new build is custom code on a modern hosting platform rather than a stack of third-party plugins, security patching, uptime monitoring, SSL, and global performance are handled by the platform itself — not billed as recurring monthly labor.

Rade Engineering launched a modern, refreshed site on a three-tier distributed architecture — faster, more secure, and far simpler to maintain and extend.
